Puppies and older dogs can benefit from this video. The basic course is divided into 3 sections-

1. Section I, the Introductory section, teaches how to give commands, equipment you need, and how to use the equipment. Your dog will begin to trust you with these soft fun lessons.

2. Section II, Basic obedience lessons, begins the formal training program. At this point, you establish yourself as the "Boss".

3. Section III, the Advanced Basics, teaches the final steps of heeling and retrieving. At this point, your dog will begin responding with eagerness.

You'll love the early training lessons which are fun for you and your dog. You will see owners successfully training their dogs for the first time. Mistakes are pointed out, and information on how to correct them is provided.

You will teach your dog to 'stay' when you go out of sight, 'heel' with you as you turn in different directions and to 'come' to you going directly to heel.

You will learn how to get your dog to retrieve, hold, and deliver to hand. Jean will teach you different techniques of training your dog to retrieve.

Your confidence will grow as a trainer because you will know what to do next.
